Super Hero's
My little "super hero's" are what feels like "finally" playing a lot together and really enjoying one another in playtime! Not only did I want to record this great time they were having, but this is probably the first time they were both at the same time wearing these adorable capes that our dear friend Laura Blackann made for them! I've tried so many times to get them to both wear them at the same time, but not had much luck... They had to do it on their own:)

Trip to Missouri
What a fun adventure we had in Missouri this summer! We flew into Branson and spent a few hours letting the kids run around and get some much pented up energy out!
The kids and Paw Paw rode on a mini train thru the waterfront area of Branson.

Sunday afternoon lots of family friends came over for a wonderful meal prepared by Ada and to see all of us!

Brandon talking with Tyler & Jeff.
Brandon and Violet tubing

John hung a fun tire swing in their front yard and the kids loved to swing on it non-stop!

Owen helping Grandma with watering the plants.

Violet loving on Max the kitty.

Aunt Lisa brought over her gecko for the kids to play with.

Pool time with aunts and cousins!

A friend of John and Ada's let the kids have their first rides on their horses! They had so much fun and what a great experience!

He was also much happier when they let him hold a baby kitty.

Violet was a natural on the horses and loved every second of it. She kept saying after at how well she did on the horse and she didn't even fall off, not like Owen. We kept trying to explain that it wasn't his fault, but she didn't buy it:)

Another day we went to another friend of John & Ada's for some fishing in their pond. Violet caught the first fish within a few seconds of casting out her line.

Violet & Grandma caught the most fish! They were a great team!

Luckily I got a few pictures of Owen smiling before the pony threw him off! We think the pony got stung because it was out of character for this particular horse. Owen was fine just pretty shook up and wouldn't go near the horses after that...although we did get him to pet a horse before we left so we could make sure he wasn't scarred for life!

They had a baby horse, 1 month old, who was still very skittish, but so cute!
A little bare back!
