Animal Kingdom

The first encounter of the day was the safari ride. So neat since the animals are all in their natural habitat and you never know what you are going to see. I think the all time favorite show we saw in all of Disney was here. Finding Nemo was incredible. The really did the whole show and the costumes and special effects were fantastic! We also ate a buffet lunch at the Tusker House and not only had an awesome lunch but were given preferred seating for the show. That was awesome since we sat in the very first row and felt like we were in the show. The kids were mesmerized!

Yes, that is my dad! He always gets picked to do these kind of things.

Hollywood Studios

On Wednesday we explored Hollywood Studios. We started with the most popular ride, Buzz Light Year's ride from Toy Story. And since we were there when the park opened we pretty much just walked right onto this usually very crowded ride! As we exited there was Woody and Buzz with no line either to meet and greet with us! The kids loved meeting them, but I think the all time favorite character meeting of the day was Mr. Incredible and Elastagirl. But the block party blast was the hightlight of the day. The park was not very crowded so we had a front row spot at the parade and the characters really interacted with the kids.

Character Breakfast

Our good friends the Williamson's recommended Chef Mickey to us as the best character breakfast at Disney and they did not steer us wrong! The kids had a blast meeting Mickey and the whole gang except for when the characters left and Owen would have quite a fit and try to follow them:) The food was suprisingly good as well. It's really hard for an almost 2 year old to understand the characters are not there to play with only him all day:) So, we took an off day from Disney and went to the Contemporary Resort and spent quite a long breakfast at Chef Mickey on Tuesday.
