The Brown household is preparing for Christmas! Violet has been keeping us busy and having a blast with all of the celebrations. For awhile she had decided it must be her birthday with all the parties and good food we've been eating. But, it finally has sunk in that it is Jesus birthday. She says, "Not my birthday, Jesus birthday!". Owen has really enjoyed the tree and is especially interested in some of the wrapped presents under the tree. Surprisingly, Violet has not bothered them, but he is really into all that shiny paper.
Tree Trimming
First Christmas Present early so she and Owen could play with the nativity. Thanks to the Kaiser family!! They both LOVE it:)
Our church has a live Nativity every year at our local park. Violet loved all the animals and wasn't afraid of anything obviously since she is hugging the donkey! Owen was just cold, poor guy.
Ross Family Annual Brunch at Jaspers: three cousins, Arianna, Chase, and Violet. Arianna and Violet are only 1 month apart in age and had an awesome time playing together this year. They are two of the same with equal amounts of energy and mischievousness.
Little Learners Playschool Christmas Party: Santa came for a visit! What a great party to close out the first semester of Violet's first school. She has an awesome class and is psyched every Tues/Thurs when it is time to go to school (mommy is too!).
Cookie Baking/Decorating: Violet helped make the dough, roll, and cut out the cookies. She really loved "eating" I mean putting the icing on the cookies. She was so precise about spreading all the icing on and getting lots of sprinkles all over each cookie. I thought she would have tired of it after a few cookies, but every time I asked her if she was done, she'd say "nope, still more cookies mom!". And she helped me finish them all up, with the help of some of her friends, Taylor and Ella.
